Refund Policy

Refund, Return & Order Resolution Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

At The Sashiko Mastery (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we want customers to understand exactly what they are purchasing and to receive the products and access promised. This Policy applies to digital products, physical products, subscriptions, memberships, bundles, add-ons, promotions, replacements, returns, cancellations, and refunds purchased through our website or authorized sales channels.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. If applicable law gives you stronger rights, those rights control.

1. Contact Us Before Filing a Payment Dispute

If there is a problem with your order, contact us at thesashikomastery@gmail.com or https://thesashikomastery.com/pages/contact. Include your full name, order number, checkout email, the product involved, and a description of the issue. We will review the concern and may offer troubleshooting, replacement files, replacement components, reshipment, exchange, store credit, cancellation, or a refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Contacting us does not limit your right to contact your payment provider or a regulator. However, giving us a reasonable opportunity to investigate often allows us to resolve the matter faster and avoid duplicate refunds or conflicting proceedings.

2. Product Format and Order Confirmation

Each product page and checkout should identify the product as a digital download, physical product, or recurring subscription. Paid add-ons are optional and require affirmative selection. We do not intend to charge customers for preselected products or for products accepted solely through inactivity, page refresh, or navigation.

Review the final order summary before paying. Your confirmation email should list each purchased item, price, product format, and, for subscriptions, renewal terms. Contact us promptly if the confirmation does not match what you intended to buy.

2.1 How orders and optional add-ons are placed

Orders and optional add-ons are submitted through the customer-facing checkout. Our customer-service team cannot access a customer’s PayPal account, approve payment, or manually submit a checkout selection on the customer’s behalf. Products are not added to a completed order by customer-service staff.

Any optional paid add-on must be presented with its product name, format, and price and must require an affirmative customer action. A separate order number, payment record, or fulfillment entry documents how a transaction was processed, but we will also review available checkout and payment records when a customer reports that a charge was unauthorized or unintended.

3. Digital Products

Digital products include PDF ebooks, downloadable patterns, videos, bundles, Academy materials, community resources, and other electronically supplied content.

3.1 Delivery and access

Digital products are generally delivered shortly after payment confirmation by email, account access, download link, or another electronic method. If access fails, contact us so that we can resend the delivery email, replace links, or provide reasonable technical assistance.

3.2 Refund eligibility

Subject to mandatory law, digital purchases are generally final after valid access or delivery has been provided because digital content cannot be physically returned and may be copied, saved, printed, or shared. A refund is not automatically available for a change of mind, failure to read a clear digital-format disclosure, or a correctable access problem.

We may approve a full or partial refund when, after review:

  • the customer was charged without valid authorization;

  • the product was materially misdescribed or the product format was not clearly disclosed;

  • the promised files or access were not delivered and we cannot restore delivery within a reasonable time;

  • the files are materially defective and we cannot provide a corrected version;

  • duplicate billing occurred;

  • a statutory withdrawal, conformity, or refund right applies; or

  • we determine that a refund is the most appropriate commercial resolution.

3.3 Digital withdrawal acknowledgment

Where applicable law permits a withdrawal right to end when digital performance begins, immediate access will be provided only after the customer expressly requests immediate performance and acknowledges any resulting loss of the withdrawal right. If the required consent or confirmation was not obtained, mandatory withdrawal rights may continue to apply.

4. Physical Products

4.1 Change-of-mind returns

Contact us within 30 days after delivery to request authorization for an eligible change-of-mind return. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the item must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, complete, and in resalable condition with original components, instructions, accessories, and packaging. Opening packaging only to inspect the product does not necessarily prevent a return if everything remains unused and complete.

Do not send an item back without written return authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed. The customer is normally responsible for tracked return shipping for a change-of-mind return. Original shipping and expedited-delivery fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or the return results from our error.

4.2 Damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete orders

Inspect physical products promptly. Contact us within seven days after delivery, or within any longer period required by law, and provide the order number, a description, and reasonably requested photographs or video of the item, packaging, and label. Keep the item and packaging while we investigate.

Our first remedy may be repair, replacement of the affected component, delivery of the correct item, or reshipment. A refund may be provided when replacement is unavailable, unsuccessful, disproportionate, legally required, or otherwise appropriate.

4.3 Delivered, lost, or delayed packages

If tracking shows delivered, check the delivery location, household members, neighbors, carrier, and address entered at checkout. We may assist with a carrier investigation. A delivered scan does not automatically guarantee a refund or replacement, but we will review credible evidence of loss, theft, or misdelivery.

4.4 Incorrect addresses and refused packages

Customers are responsible for reviewing shipping information. We may correct an address before fulfillment, but changes are not guaranteed once processing begins. Reshipment following an incorrect, incomplete, or refused address may require additional shipping charges. Any refund after return to sender may exclude unrecoverable shipping or handling costs to the extent permitted by law.

5. Order Cancellations

Digital orders generally cannot be canceled after immediate delivery has validly begun, subject to mandatory law. Physical orders may be canceled only if fulfillment can still be stopped. If already shipped, the physical return procedure applies.

6. Subscriptions and Memberships

Subscription pages and checkout must disclose the recurring price, billing frequency, trial terms, minimum commitment if any, renewal method, material restrictions, and cancellation method before enrollment. Subscriptions renew until canceled unless the offer expressly states otherwise.

You may cancel through emailing thesashikomastery@gmail.com or by contacting thesashikomastery@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not normally create a refund for a billing period already begun, except where required by law, where cancellation was not processed correctly, or where the subscription was unauthorized or materially misdescribed.

We will send confirmation of cancellation. If pricing or other material subscription terms change, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required. Free community access offered as a goodwill benefit is not a paid subscription unless the customer separately enrolls in a recurring plan.

7. Bundles, Promotions, Gifts, and Add-ons

Bundle pricing may depend on purchasing all included items together. If a partial refund is approved, we may recalculate the retained items at their standalone prices and deduct the difference, where clearly disclosed and permitted by law. Complimentary gifts and promotional items have no cash value and are generally not separately refundable.

Paid add-ons must be separately presented with their product name, format, and price and must require affirmative acceptance. Declining an add-on will not affect the original purchase. If an add-on was charged without valid consent, contact us for priority review.

8. Non-returnable or Restricted Items

Subject to mandatory law, the following are not eligible for a standard change-of-mind return: delivered digital products; used, washed, altered, damaged, or incomplete physical products; unauthorized returns; gift cards; items clearly identified before purchase as final sale; and complimentary or promotional items.

9. Review Process and Evidence

We may request order details, photographs, video, delivery records, download/access information, or other reasonably necessary evidence. We may decline requests involving fraud, abuse, duplicate claims, materially false information, failure to provide reasonably requested evidence, or repeated refund patterns, subject to applicable law. Each request is reviewed individually.

10. Approved Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another method is required or agreed. Processing may take 5–10 business days after issuance, depending on the bank or payment provider. Payment-processing and currency-conversion timing are outside our control.

If a chargeback is already open, we may be unable to issue a separate refund while the dispute remains active. We will not intentionally provide a duplicate reimbursement. We may ask the customer to coordinate with the payment provider and provide written withdrawal confirmation before a merchant refund is processed.

11. Consumer Rights and Contact

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or replaces non-waivable rights under applicable consumer law. Contact: The Sashiko Mastery, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, thesashikomastery@gmail.com.
